Our culture is defined by the products we make, customers we serve and work environment we create for our associates around the world. What we do drives our success. But how we do it really determines who we are.

In the past few years, we've taken a long, hard look at our company, identifying areas of strength and areas that need improvement. With input from our stakeholders and associates, we developed our strategic vision and mission for the future, and adopted a set of corporate values that reflect our organization.

Our strategic vision drives everything we do, and begins with excellence in the fundamental disciplines of product portfolio management, brand management and talent management.  On top of that, we built our strength by creating a Lean Enterprise culture and by aligning our manufacturing capacity to be closer to our customers and partners around the globe.  To grow our core business organically, we have increased our attention to faster-growing emerging markets and invested in stronger market delivery processes, including alignment with key vertical markets, channel management and our global accounts program.  The top of the pyramid reflects the areas in which we are expanding our business, Connectivity and Networking, reflecting our strategic commitment to serve our customers with all signal transmission media so that Belden provides the best solution for each customer's needs.
