Belden's Wireless Solution guarantees the following coverage under the Standard Warranty:

  • The system hardware for a 12-month period
  • The software for 90 days from the date of shipment to the system provider and/or end-user.
  • All software patches and bug fixes
  • Return Material Authorization (RMA) policy specifies that all product warranty claims must be returned to Belden within the first thirty (30) days after shipment.
  • The repair and/or replacement of any faulty hardware item will be accomplished within 30 days -- anytime within the twelve (12) month warranty period. The same set of circumstances applies to any defect in system software.

*When the user logs-in and registers the system for warranty, they will have access to their unique Portal where best practices documentation, software and firmware update and upgrade information, release notes, etc. are stored.

Technical Support

Experienced Belden technicians are trained to provide technically astute information on the Belden Wireless System and its various components via email (wirelessinfo@belden.com) or telephone (1.800.BELDEN.4). This includes questions relevant to the system hardware, software (including the configuration of the software), hardware installation and system troubleshooting.

Belden Professional Services

Belden offers a comprehensive group of professional services to support any pre- or post-sale system design, troubleshooting and network integration issues that arise. Services offered include:

  • Complete system design and planning, including AP layout services
  • Site surveys (although minimal RF planning is necessary with the Belden Wireless Solution, a comprehensive engineering survey can be provided to help secure the requirements of the bid or IT/engineering requirements)
  • Consulting and review of the wireless proposal/specifications with engineering.
  • Complete system integration (wireless LAN to the wired LAN)
  • Troubleshooting services for particularly complex WLAN installations
  • Security assessments and advanced wireless intrusion & prevention solutions (WIPs)
  • For Professional Service requests outside of North America, contact your local sales representative.

These services are available to Standard Warranty customers at standard rate-card price levels.
